I'm Jason, Technical Artist

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and learn a little bit more about me. This is my personal portfolio to showcase some of the work and side projects I’ve done throughout my career. Check out my portfolio or my resume and feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my work, I’d be happy to chat.

For the last 18 years, and throughout my career as a Technical Artist, I've striven to build a strong and trustworthy relationship with the artists I've worked with. I truly believe that in order to get the most out of a game studio's art productivity and to foster a working environment that artists cherish and flourish in, we as TAs need to empower them through amazing tools and relentless support. When you can build a comradely Artist-TA relationship that is built on trust and success, you're creating a win-win scenario for both sides.

This philosophy also applies to building a solid and trustworthy relationship with your studio engineers. Technical Artists can't do it alone. They will need to partner with engineers to help build the studio technology all developers will be using. Partnerships like this require an entire studio to believe in this kind of culture. A culture where TAs are seen as a vital cog in uniting multiple disciplines for one goal, creating an awesome gaming experience for our customers.

I've seen the transformative powers a solid and talented TA department can have on an entire studio and the games it produces. I strive to not only be an indispensable TA, but to also help build and foster a studio TA culture that is looked upon as a role model in the entire industry.
